HALFNOISE (Zac Farro) Releases First Single “Know The Feeling”

HALFNOISE is ecstatic to be releasing the first single “Know The Feeling” from his forthcoming new full-length studio album, due out this Autumn on Congrats!  The track premiered exclusively on Stereogum  and is available for purchase now via all Digital Service Providers.

HALFNOISE is the creative project of Nashville-based musician Zac Farro; fusing his passion for live drums, electronic elements, and his unique voice to create a sound that bravely steps into the future without abandoning his already incredibly successful past.  Farro spent most of his early music career as a founding member of Paramore, touring with the band from 2004 to 2010 and lending his talents as a drummer to the band’s first three records – All We Know Is Falling, and the platinum-selling Riot!, and Brand New Eyes.

After releasing his self-titled HALFNOISE in 2012, and moving to New Zealand in 2014 to record his sophomore album VOLCANO CROWE, Farro found himself back out on the road supporting Broods on a national tour.  His time spent in New Zealand also helped cement a relationship with Joel Little (Lorde, Sam Smith, Ellie Goulding), who Farro tapped to produce his 2015 single “INSIDE,” an experience that would help him grow as a vocalist and writer.  It was this newfound confidence that helped shape the newest HALFNOISE record, which after moving back to Nashville, Farro self-produced at Save Point Studios in Los Angeles, surrounded by friends and close collaborators.

The new HALFNOISE single “Know The Feeling” can be streamed NOW.  The track is off of the band’s upcoming full-length album, with further details coming soon.
